Signature : Mumei (Shinto)

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 68 cm or 26.77 inches.
Sori : 1.3 cm or 0.51 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.87 cm or 0.51 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.99 cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.29 inches.
Weight of only blade : 760g
Era : Edo period Circa Kanbun(1661-1672)
Shape : It is suriage(cut shorten) mumei katana with normal width and thickness.
It is shallow sori kanbun shinto shape katana.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attached.
Hamon : It is rather tight nioi deki gunome midare with some notare mixed.

Special feature : It is well grained ji and hamon which is most likely Kanbun Shinto sword.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On thick iron tsuba, rim is rised up and the dragon is engraved.
Fuchikashira : On shakudo ishimeji plate, flower design is engraved and inlayed with gold.
Saya : Black roiro sya
Menuki : On shakudo plate, flower design is engraved and inlayed with gold.
