The blade was polished.
Blade length : 69.69 cm or 27.43 inches.
Sori : 0.66 cm or 0.25 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.02 cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.97 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Middle Muromachi period.
Shape : Regular size width and thickness.
Jitetsu : Itame hada we ll grained with jinie attached, The texture of the steel is well seen.
Hamon : Nie based, Suguha and Notare are mixed. And there is Niju-Ha.
There are many Ashi in Ha.

Special feature : It is said that Uda school have originated in Yamato province.
The founder Konyudo Kunimitsu moved to Ecchu province in the last Kamakura period.
Uda school continued from Kamakura period to Edo period.
Especially, Uda school in Kamakura period and Nanbokucho period is called Ko-Uda (old Uda).
This blade is blackish Jigane and visible to see the texture.
It is regretted that there is flaw(Ware) on the Kissaki but
nevertheless it is nice shape and the jigane is wonderful.
