The blade was polished.
habaki:copper plate double habaki.
Blade length : 29.70 cm or 11.69 inches.
Sori : 3.03 cm or 1.19 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.65 cm or 1.04 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick longer sized Tanto.
On the front, Bonji and on the reverse side, Bonji and bo-hi are engraved.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach but there are some small openings and lose had appear but not so bad.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha and from Monouchi area, midair hamon and turns back yakisage style.

Special feature : At late Muromachi period, Harumotsu was working who engraved the signature
Bisyu Jyu Osafune Kyuro daemon Jyo Harumitsu, Bisyu Kuni Jyu Osafune Harumotsu.
This Tanto is Zokumyo Harumitsu not mass productive sword.
He was reported as Jirobei Harumitsu.
He made Tanto mainly and also Katana.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Waves are engraved on the brass plate.
Fuchikashira : On the iron plate, an old man is engraved by Shibuichi plate.
Saya : Black stone shaped design black saya.
Menuki : Sea shell design are engraved with gold color.
Kojiri : Iron plate.
