Katana : Mumei (unsigned) (Den Rai Kuniyuki)

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 66.2 cm or 26.06 inches.
Sori : 1.7 cm or 0.66 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.68 cm or 1.05 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.74 cm or 0.68 inches.
Kasane : 0.70 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Kamakura period Syogen era.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei with bo-hi is engraved both sides of the blade.
Jitetsu : Koitame had and komokume had mixed with a lot of jinie attach and chikei appear and also very clear Utsuri work.
On the top of Mune, there are some small Yaki appear which is typical special feature of Kuniyuki.
Hamon : Konie deck suguha based with noter mixed.
In Hamon, there are ash, Yo smack sunagashi and kinsuji work soft feeling.

Special feature : The founder of the Rai school was Rai Taro.
Rai Kuniyuki was working at Kamakura Syogen era(1259)756 years ago.
His students are well known Kunitoshi, Rai Kunitoshi, Rai Kunimitsu and Rai Kunitsugu.
Some students moved to Kyusyu and worked there as Enjyu school.
some students muved to Settssu which is called Nakajima Rai and also obukuni.
This sword is excellent very high grade Jigane without Kizu and flow. On the top of the Mune,
there are some Yaki which is special feature of the Kuniyuki.
The sword might upgrade to Jyuyo Token (not guarantee)
