Katana in saber Koshirae

Signature : Mumei(Echizen Shinto)

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 71.21 cm or 28.03 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.9 cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.98 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period around Kanbun era.
Shape : Regular size, Suriage Mumei Shinto style Katana.
Bo-Hi are on both side.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada well grained and mixed with Mokume
and Jinie attached. The Jigane is beautihful.
Hamon : Nie Deki Suguha base. There are double Ha and Ashi.
Boshi is Midarekomi style.

Special feature : From the Suguha base Hamon and double Ha,
we think that the blade is Owari or Echizen province. In Ha, there are many works.
The blade has no flaw. The condition is good.
The high officer has this sort of saber. During war time, the saber was family treasure.

Koshirae : saber Koshirae is in good condition.
