Katana in Shirasaya(51th NBTHK Juyo Paper)

Signature: Mumei attributed as Kokubunji Sukekuni.

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 69.3m or 27.28inches.
Sori : 1.66cm or 0.65inches.
Wide at the hamachi : 3.16m or 1.24inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 2.13m or 0.84inches.
Kasane : 0.83cm or 0.33inches.
Era : Late Kamakura period.1321(690 years ago)
Shape : The blade is wide and healthy with deep Sori which is nicce looking Oosuriage Mumei sword(cut shortened)
Jitetsu :Itame hada and Mokume hada convined with much Jinie attach.
On the Ji, clear Midare Utsuri appear.
Hamon : Konie deki basic tone small Gunome midare and Cyoji midare hamon mix
In Ha, there are many Sunagashi and Kinsuji work.

Special feature : Kokubunji Sukekuni was working between Bizen and Bingo.This blade looks like Unrui school.
According to the Jyuyo paper, this blade has a lot of activities and fantastic work.The blade is extraordinary beauty sword.
