Katana: Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Sue-Seki school.

Katana in Koshirae

Signature : Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Sue-Seki school.

The blade was polished.
Habaki:silver single habaki.
Blade length : 68.8 cm or 27.08 inches.
Sori : 1.3 cm or 0.51 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.8cm or 1.10 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.97 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.58 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
pe.Shape : The bale is Machiokori style sword
with regular thickness and nice shape.
Jitetsu :Itame had well grained with jinie attach
and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome Miidare and cyoji Midare mixed
with Sunagashi and small Kinsuji work.

Special feature : At a glance, the blade looks Kasyu Kagemitsu
but the Nakago yasurime style is Takanoha yasuri.
So the blade must be Mino balde which had influenced Bizin Choji midair hamon.
In Ha, there are many small sunagashi, and kinsuji work.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the Mokko style syakudo nanako plate, sea shells and landscape are engraved. Kagamishi.
Fuchikashira :On the syakudo plain plate, reeling tools are engraved with gold color.
Saya : black ishimeji saya.
Menuki : a Kabuto and other tools are engraved with gold color.
