Signature : Nanto Ju Kanebo(Kinbo) Hyouei Jo Masatsugu

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 69.69 cm or 27.43 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 2.96cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.45 cm or 0.96 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period. around Daie era(1521-1527)
Shape : Regular size nice shape Katana with Okissaki.
Jitetsu: Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. Hadatatsu.
Hamon: Nie Deki, tight Suguha base with many Ashi and Yo.
Boshi is round shape, Komidare Yakisage style.

Special feature : Masatsugu was working as a sword maker of the Ho-zo-in temple Nara.
The style is typical Yamato school.
This blade is also typical Muromachi period and Yamato style.
The Shinogi-ji is wide and Okissaki.
