Katana : Noushu Seki ju Kanehisa

Katana in Shirasaya, with Koshirae (NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho paper for blade and Koshirae )

The blade was polished
Habaki:copper single habaki.
Blade length : 70 cm or 27.55 inches.
Sori : 1.51 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.72 cm or 1.07 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.02 cm or 0.79 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period Tenbun era. 1532.
Shape : The blade is about 3cm suriage machiokuri
with suitable sori and longer kissaki.
Jitetsu :Itame had well grained and Mokune hada mixed with jinie attach nice texture.
On the Kissaki moot side, a kitae kizu along with hamon appear but not so bad.
Hamon : Koniedeki noter haamon and gunome midair mixed
with deep nioikuchi ash and yo work. Boshi is round shape deep kaeri.

Special feature : The founder of the Noushu Sekijyu Kanehisa started
from early Muromachi to late Muromachi period.
The jigane looks like bizen kiyomitsu well grayed.
The hamon is deep nioikuchi and elegant soft feeling nice work.

Koshirae : NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicyo toso-gu.
Tsuba :On the round shape iron Tsuba, ground cherries are engraved with open work.
Fuchikashira :On the syakudo plain plate, flowers are engraved with gold color.
Saya : on the black color saya,
turtle shell shaped design are engraved by tiny blue shell powder.
Menuki : a horseriding man is engraved with gold color.
