Katana in Shirasaya, with Koshirae(NBTHK Hozon paper)

Signature : Omi Daijo Fujiwara Yukimitsu

Shinto: Chijo saku: Wazamono: Ecchu province.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Omi Daijo Fujiwara Yukimitsu belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished
Habaki : single copper Habaki
Blade length : 69.4 cm or 27.32 inches.
Sori : 1.6 cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.16 cm or 1.24 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.04 cm or 0.80 inches.
Kasane : 0.71 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period around Kanbun era.
Shape : Rather wide and thick blade with Sori. Nice shape Katana.
Jitetsu : Ko-itame Hada and Ko-Mokume Hada mixed with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie Deki Suguha with Nioikuchi. Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Omi Daijo Fujiwara Yukimitsu is a swordsmith of Kaga province.
HE lives in Ecchu Toyama. He studied under Sekido.
Almost his blades are Suguha and nice work.
This blade is very healthy. The Nakago-jiri is looks like Kashu Kiyomitsu blade.
We recommend this Ubu-Nakago healthy blade very much.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Mokko Shape iron Tsuba. Some design is engraved. It looks like Ko-Tosho Tsuba.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanako, the family crest is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Russet color Saya.
Menuki : Shakudo, plants are engraved.
