Shape : It is wide and thick with bohi engraved in both sides. It is nice shape katana.
Jitetsu :Small wood grain pattern on sword steel hada(koitame) well grained with jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie base gunome midare with some sharp irregular hamon gunome. The ha is active with sunagashi, detail kinsuji and boushi round end.
Special feature : Kanemasa is a sword smith from Seki, Mino Gifu prefecture and he has been going to Seki to make
The second generation Kanemasa, his real name Yamato Hisanobu shi is from Chiba prefecture.
It is much an agenda of how the second generation would make use of the
home made iron tamahagane.
This piece has wild activities in the ha. There are many sunagashi seen. It is sharp looking piece. The blade is 80.6cm long with some hi engraved.
