8 Kanji Bunkyu Gannen,
The blade is long healthy blade which remind us Tosa style sword.
He sometimes made Syguha hamon and this sword is typical nice work.

Shinshin to:Jyo-Jyo saku ranking:Musashi.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Korekazu belongs to Jyo-Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Blade length : 83.33 cm or 32.80 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.12 cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.04 cm or 0.80 inches.
Kasane : 0.82 cm or 0.32 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Bunkyu era(1861).
Shape : Thr blade is wide and thick long
with small sori gorgeous blade.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained
with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki siguha hamon with komidare bright hamon.
The boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Ishido Korekazu was born as a nephew of Kato Chounsai Tsunatoshi at Yonezawa. He studied from Tsunatoshi and he became the seventh generation of Ishido family. He is one of the most skilled craftman in his family.
Korekazu passed away in 1894 when he was 75 years old. He made Sodenbizen den which is convined with Bizen and Soshu den style.
First generation Korekazu made Bizenden style with nice Utsuri
but 7th generation Korekazu made swords like Soshu style.
This sword is long and rather wide and thick looks like Kino-To swords.
The blade is Sugaha style with Koasi nice sword.
