Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae

Signature: Sou Tsutomu Kaneyoshi Chikuzen koku saku (Mukansa sword maker.)
Heisei 17 nen Shiraume saku koro
(explanation: The blade was made at Heisei 17 year(2005) the season of white Japanese plum bloom.)

The blade was polished.
Habaki : silver single habaki.
Blade length : 70.2 cm or 27.63 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Width at the hamachi : 3.17 cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.40 cm or 0.94 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Gendai period.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare with thick nioikuchi.
In hamon, there are many sunagashi and kinsuji sacttered in
Ha. Boshi is midarekomi style.

Special feature : Chikusyu Jyu So Tsutomu was born at Fukuoka prefecture Syowa 2nd year and named Masaru.
At NBTHK Shinsakuto exhibition, he got a lot of prizes and after that Heisei 9th, he got the Mukansa sword maker which is the top ranking sword contest. He made a lot of swords like Sosyu style, Sukehiro utsushi wide Doranba hamon. Probably He made sword as a copy of Kiyomaro. This sword was made at the season which bloom white Ume tree.
