Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae (NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper)(NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho paper)

Signature : Yamato Kami Yoshimichi (First generation)

Shinto Jyo saku ranking Wazamono cuttinf¥g test ranking Settsu province.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to Jyo-Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 74.54 cm or 29,35 inches.
Sori : 1.21 cm or 0.48 inches.
Mekugi :  
Width at the hamachi : 3.04cm or 1.2 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.11cm or 0.83inches.
Kasane : 0.85cm or 0.33 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape The blade is rather wide and thick long sword with small sori and longer kissaki.
Hamon:Niedeki siguha from the Hamachi and then gunome midare
with deep nioikuchi and in Hamon, there are many sunagashi and kinsuji work.
In Hamon, there are some gunome which is Tora no O(Tiger's tail) called Taiger's tail.

Special feature : Yamato Kamo Yoshimichi first generation is second son of
the Oosaka first generation Yoshimichi who is called Mishina Uzaemon.
He is skillful sword maker and made Sudareba and also gunome midare like this sword.
The sayagaki is mentioned by Dr Honma sensei which is mentioned.
Kasaku(nice work and condition) Upper part of the hamon has some tiny sure.
We will polish away perfectly.

Koshirae: The Koshirae is good condition.
Saya:On the black color saya like Ishimeji style.
Menuki:an octopus is engraved by syakudo playe. unusual menuki.
Fuchikashira:On the iron plate, vine grapes are engraved.
Tsuba: On the iron plate, grapes and squirrel is engraved.
