Width at the hamachi : 3.12cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.52 cm or 0.99 inches.
Kasane : 0.63cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period. period.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick
with suitable sori and long kissaki nice looking sword.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada and mokume hada mixed and also masame
hada mixed with soft feeling texture and utsuri appear.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha and double hamon.
Boshi is deep nioikuchi round shape.

Masazane is a Kinbo school Yamato province.
He made sword, Yari and Jyumonjiyari expert.
I think when family’s son go to the warfront,
his father gave his family’s treasure celebrating his good fortune and active part at the war front.
The blade is typical Kinbo school.
On the boshi and in Ha, there are small kizu but not serious.
