Katana in Shirasaya

Signature:Masatoshi Sakakura seek school.
Kinzogan:Gen Kudaku. (quite cut well sword)

The blade was polished.
Habaki:Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 66.9 cm or 26.28 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 3 nai 2 ume
Width at the hamachi : 2.92 cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.98 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.59 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is about 10cm suriage but the whole signature is mentioned.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with Jinie attach nice Texture.
On the Ji, some weak Utsuri appear.
Hamon : Niedeki kogunome midair and small Togari gunome midair mixed.Boshi is midarekomi style.

Special feature : Masatoshi was working at late Muromachi period Koji era.
Masatoshi was a son of the Masayoshi.
Some sword expert say that the blade was a student of the Muramasa.
Because the signature of the Masa looks like typical Muramasa.
The Motohaba and sakihaba are almost same size with deep sori nice elegant shape.
The blade is quite cut well sword which is mentioned on the Tang by gold inlay(Kinzogan).
