Signature :Kai Kami Minamoto Ason Kaneyuki
Ou Ikeda Saichi Minamoto Syunsai.
Kanji Meiji 3 nen Kanoe Uma Uzuki Jokan Kichijitsu (early April 1870)

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 22.5 cm or 8.85 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.48cm or 0.98inches.
Kasane : 0.61 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era :Meiji 3rd period.
Shape : The ken is engraved small hi on the top of the Ken.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach like Muji style.
Hamon : zniedeki suguha with Koashi and nezumi ash work.
Boshi is hakikake style.

Special feature : :Kai Kami Minamoto Ason Kaneyuki was working
at Edo but unfortunately at Meiji 4th, Haito-rei
(decree banning the wearing of swords)was issued.
so he had to finish his work.
This Ken was made by order made by Ikeda Saichi Minamoto Syunsai.
Probably the name is Priest bonz.
