Naginata in Shirasaya with Koshirae. (Guarantee: NBTHK Hozon paper)
Signature : Mumei (unsigned) attributed as Mino school.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijo saku, Jojo saku Jo saku and regular saku)
This Naginata belongs to Jo saku ranking.

The blade is polished.
Habaki : Copper double habaki.
Blade length : 41.2 cm or 16.2 inches.
Sori : 2.4 cm or 0.95 inches.

Width at the Hamachi : 3.09 cm or 1.22 inches.
Kasane : 0.89 cm or 0.35inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and long healthy blade.
Jigane : Koitame hada well grained with jijie attach and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha and togari gunome midare. Boshi is round shape Togari shape.

Special feature : From the Jigane and Hamon, the blade seems to be forged by Mino school.
