The blade was polished.
Blade length : 18.4cm or 7.24inches.
Sori : 0.0cm or 0inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 1.96cm or 0.77inches.
Kasane : 0.84cm or 0.33inches.
Era : Early Muromachi period Shoucho era(1428)
Shape : It is long kera-neck yari. It is a Muromachi period shape.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear hada.
Hamon : Nie base suguha with deep nioiguchi. Ko-ashi is attached.
It is soft feeling hamon.

Special feature : There are many sword smiths that has engraved
the signature as Kunitsugu and they
were active at Uda, Soshu, and many other places.
This Kunitsugu has the characteristic of Uda and has long Kera-Kubi which proves
that it is from the old times. The jigane condition is good
and there are various activities in the ha. It is good condition yari.

Historical Background: Shocho uprising-It is one of
the many peasant rebellions of Muromachi period.
