Naginata: Sagami no kami Masatsune Nyudo

Naginata in Shirasaya

Signature: The signature is mentioned Sagami no kami Masatsune Nyudo(not guarantee)

The blade was polished.
Habaki :copper single habaki.
Blade length : 49.0 cm or 19.29 inches.
Sori : 2.8 cm or 1.1 inches.
Mekugi:1
Width at the hamachi : 2.97 cm or 1.16 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Early Edo Keicyo period.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick long Naginata.
Jitetsu :item had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : niedeki gunome midare and Tobiyaki.
Boshi is round Togari hamon and turns back sharply Yakisage style.

Special feature : Sagami no kami Masatsune was called Mino Kami Masatsune and called Nando Sasuke.
At Tensyo 10thm he got the prize because he made 100 pieces of Yari.
At Tensyo 20thm he got the title of Masatsune.
At Keicyo 5th (1600) November 17th he went Kiyosu castle by ordered Daimyo Fukushima Masanori .At Keicyo 15th he made swords at under the castle Nagoya Tomita city.
Genna 1st (1619) he passed away.
This Naginata is wide and thick also long size blade.
The signature is well cut but slightly quetionable.
