(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)

This Hirosada belongs to Jyo ranking.
The blade was polished
Habaki : Silver Single Foiled Habaki
Blade length : 72.5 cm or 28.54 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.98cm or 1.17inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.2cm or 0.87inches.
Kasane : 0.69cm or 0.27inches.
Era : Edo Period Jyokyo Period(1684-1687)
Shape : It is wide and thik nice Sori Kissaki. It is nice shape Katana.
Jitetsu :Koitame Hada well grained with JInie attached.
It is clear Hizen Konuka Hada work.
Hamon : Clear Nie Deki Suguha Hamon.

Special feature : First generation HIrosada, his first name So Uemon is called Yoshiie,
the son of First Generation Kanehiro.
This work is magnificent work with Suguha Deki and there is no Kizu or flaw.
It is nice work.

Tsuba : Chrysanthemum design iron tsuba with inlay.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo plate
Saya : Black Ishimeji Saya
Menuki : Shakudo plate with pattern engraved and inlaid with gold.
