This blade is excellent work. Blade length is 76.2cm.

This Miyairi Yukihira belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 76.2 cm or 30.0 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.29 cm or 1.29 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.58 cm or 1.01 inches.
Kasane : 0.91 cm or 0.35 inches.
Era : Modern times. 1975
Shape : Wide and thick with Ookissaki blade. There are Futasuji-Hi on both side.
Jitetsu : Fine Masame Hada and Ko-Mokume Hada mixed with Jinie attach. It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare with deep Nioikuchi. Habuchi is soft.
There are Kinsuji around Kissaki part. Boshi is Hakikake style.

Special feature : Miyairi Yukihira is a sword smith of Nagano prefecture.
He was born on March 17, 1913 at town Sakaki in Nagano prefecture.
He studied under Kurihara Hikosaburo at the Nihonto-Tanren-denshujo in Tokyo in 1937.
He received a number of awards of the swords. He is made a living national treasure in 1963.
He passed away in 1977. He is the most famous swordsmith in the group of Human national treasure.
His blade is rare and difficult to obtain. We recommend this blade very much.
