Tanto in Shirasaya, with Koshirae.(NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Paper)

This Bizen koku Osafune Kiyomitsu belongs to Jyojyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 28.6 cm or 11.25 inches.
Sori : 0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.77 cm or 1.09 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Muromachi period. around Eiroku era.
Shape : Regular size Tanto.
The Sanskrit, Ken, Tsume and Gomabashi are engraved on both side.
Jitetsu : Mixture of Ko-Itame Hada and Mokume with Chikei. There are Utsuri.
Hamon : Nie Deki Suguha, there are Yo. Boshi is Togari Gokoro shape.

Special feature :Bizen Koku Osafune Kiyomitsu was working with Sukesada
at Late Muromachi Eiroku era.
This Jigane and Hamon is wonderful. And also the blade is healthy.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the yamagane plate, a dragon and a tiger are engraved.
Fuchikashira :On the shakudo nanako plate, flowers are engraved with gold
color.
Saya : on the dark brown color, kin nashi ji powder spread.
Menuki : A bow and arrow are engraved by syakudo and gold color.
Kozuka : On the shakudo plate, waves and a dragon engraved with gold color.
Kurikata:On the shakudo plate, waves and a dragon engraved with gold color.
