Tanto in Shirasaya with Koshirae

Signature : Kanenori

Suekoto: Chusaku: Ryo-wazamono: MIno
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 22.4cm or 8.82inches.
Sori : 0
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.15cm or  0.85inches.
Kasane : 0.48cm or 0.19inches.
Era : Edo period.
Shape : It is regular width and thickness small size tanto
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with white utsuri appearing.
It is soft jigane.
Hamon : It is konie structure which is suguha
from the hamachi and gradually becomes mixed up
with sharp gunome. Boushi is round end.

Special feature : Kanenori is said to be the son of Kanetsuna
and at the same time he may have been the father of Echizen Kanenori.
This piece is a very good condition MInokoo Kanenori.

Koshirae: Aikuchi Koshirae
Saya: Brown color Saya.
Fuchikashira: Kojiri: Kurikata: mesh designe iron, the flower is engraved with gold color.
Menuki: Silver plate, a turtle, wrapping cloth and fan are engraved.
