Tanto in Shirasaya, with Koshirae (NBTHK Hozon Token)

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 28.5 cm or 11.22 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.42 cm or 0.95 inches.
Kasane : 0.51cm or 0.2 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is regular size sakizori style, Bo-hi is engraved on both sides of the blade.
Jitetsu : Itame hada and masame hada mixed with jinie attach.
Hamon : Nioideki suguha and gunome midair mix. Boshi is round Togari style Yakisage with clear Kinsuji work.
Special feature : This Kanetomo looks like Naoe shies but the Jigane and Hamon, the sword was made at late Muromachi period.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the syakudo mokko style,rise up the mimi. parent bird and chicks are playing around.
Fuchikashira : On the syakudo plate, a rubout and flowers are engrave with gold color.
Saya : Black kizami saya.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate,a chicken is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka : On the syakudo nanako plate, parent bird and chicks are playing around Japanese drum.
Kogatana : The signature is mentioned Hokyo Raiei.
