Shinshinto: Chujo saku: Hitachi province.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 18.0 cm or 7.08 inches.
Sori : 0.0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 1.94 cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.58 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : Meiji 4 nen (1871)
Shape : Rather small, nice shape Tanto.
Jigane : Masame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Ko Nie Deki, Suguha. In Ha, there are Ko-Ashi.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Katsumura Tokumasa was born in Mito
and was named Katsumura Hikoroku and has been active
as the fuderal lord of Mito family.
He has made sword that focused on its sharpness.
His sword were mostly Masame Suguha sword.
He has made similar swords to Hosho which then becomes Masame hada.
Jitetsu is masame jigane.
This blade was made by 2nd generation of Tokkatsu.
This piece is wonderful Masame deki sword.

Saya : red color.
Menuki : wood carving, a venerable sage is engraved.
Fuchi : wood carving, a small mallet is engraved.
Kashira: wood carving, a venerable sage is engraved.
Kojiri : wood carving, an old tree is engraved.
Kozuka : wood carving,a venerable sage is engraved.
