Tanto: Nobutsugu (Shigaseki)

Tanto in Shirasaya(NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Paper)

Signature : Nobutsugu (Shigaseki)

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 25.75 cm or 10.13 inches.
Sori : 0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.42 cm or 0.95 inches.
Kasane : 0.46 cm or 0.18 inches.
Era : Early to Middle Muromachi period.
Shape : Regular size, Mitsumune Tanto. There are Bo-Hi on both side.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada and Oohada mix. In Ha, there are Sunagashi and Kinsuji. There is Bo-Utsuri around Habaki part.
Hamon : Nie deki, Suguha.
Boshi is round Hakikake style with Kinsuji.

Special feature : Nobutsugu is sword smith of Shigaseki around early to middle Muromachi period.
Nobutsugu is son of Kanenobu. They are called Yamada-Seki school. This blade is nice Hadamono.
And also this blade has feature of Soshu-den.
