The blade was polished.
Blade length : 28.3 cm or 11.14 inches.
Sori : 0.0 cm or 0.0 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.57 cm or 1.01 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period. around Bunka era.
Shape : Wide and thick blade.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie and Chikei.
Hamon : Nie deki Gunome Midare with deep Nioikuchi.
There are Ara-Nie and deep Nioukuchi Ashi.

Special feature : Sasshu Mototake is the second boy of Motonao.
His name is Oku Zaemon. He was made much like Satsuma blade.
This blade is wide and thick and seemingly Motohira.
This blade is attribute as Mototake. 
We would almost say it is his masterpiece.

Aikuchi Koshirae :
Saya : Black Roiro Saya, dragon with gold color.
Menuki : Dragon is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka: Shakudo base, wave and dragon are engraved with gold color.
