Jidai(era) : Edo Period

Special feature : On round shape iron tsuba, bamboo forest is engraved and inlayed with gold.
Masakata was craftsman of Ito family in Edo.
He was called Genjiro or Jin-uemon.
And he was a son of Masatsune, he was the 3rd clan head of Ito famiy.
