Owari Sukashi Tsuba has been made at Owari Province during later Muromachi period to early Edo period.
The purpose of Owari Tsuba are for battle more then those designs. From mid Edo period and after, Owari school has lost thier originality and become similar to other schools.
The color of forged iron is very nice and tastful.
Most of Owari Tsuba are round shape open work with symmetrical designs. Seppa-Dai are bit lower then rim.
We recommend this rough, tough and with full of Wabi-Sabi Tsuba.
