This Wakizashi belongs to Jyo ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 51.8 cm or 20.4 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi :3.11 cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.45 cm or 0.96 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era : Mid Edo period.
Shape : Regular size, Shinogi Tsukuri Wakizashi having nice balance.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame-hada well grained with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Niedeki-suguha-hamon. Boshi draws round peak and goes down deeply.

Special feature : Fujiwara Sigeyuki is a sword smith of
Owari Seki around Hoei (A.D.1704~1710).
