(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijo saku, Jojo saku, Jo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jojo saku ranking.

The blade is polished by good polisher.
Habaki : Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length : 53.2 cm or 21.0 inches.
Sori : 1.6 cm or 0.6 inches.
Mekugi : 2 (1 filled with iron)
Width at the Hamachi : 2.78 cm or 1.10 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.93 cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.69cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period Meiou era. (1495)
Shape:The blade is long and wide and thick as the blades of that ages with deep curve and long Kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane : Mokume-hada well grained with Jinie attach. Chikei work strong and clear Utsuri appear.
Hamon : Konie Deki Choji Midare with small Ashi, Yo, Sunagashi and Kinsuji work. Boshi turns back Midarekomi style.

Special feauture : The founder of the Bishu Osafune Tadamitsu started from Nanbokucho period and succeeded for several generations.
This blade should be the 2nd generation and written as Jojo saku on the Fujishiro book.
The blade has clear Yasurime on Nakago good work.
There is Kitae Ware (crack) ond surface of Nakago but feeling of the blade is nice.
