Wakizashi in Koshirae

Signature : Bushu Ju Gaiki Toshinaga.
15 Mai Kojobuse saku.

Shinto:Cyujyo saku:Musashi.
The blade was polished.
Habaki:silver Ganseki habaki(rock shape)
Blade length : 53.93 cm or 21.23 inches.
Sori : 1.96 cm or 0.77 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.63 cm or 1.03 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.84 cm or 0.72 inches.
Kasane : 0.60 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is regular size with rather deeo sori nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : From the Hamachi area, Suguha and then Gunome midare.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Gaiki Toshinaga is called family name
Yamamoto and made a sword group
and worked Musashi province Hachio-ji area.
The uramei is mentioned as 15 Mai Kojobuse which is special way
for making sword tecqunique.

Koshirae : Handachi Koshirae.
Tsuba :On the oval shepe iron Tsuba, engraved many lines. middle Edo period.
