The blade was polished.
Blade length : 58.9 cm or 23.18 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.15 cm or 1.24 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.19 cm or 0.86 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.
Weight of only blade: around
Weight of blade and Tsuka and Tsuba (without Saya): around
Era : Late Muromachi period. (about Tenbun era)
Shape : It is rather wide and thick however shallow curve wakizashi.
The kissaki is king ended.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained
with jinie attached. It is tender feeling jigane.
Hamon : NIe case suguha with Nezumiashi seen,
Boushi is brush texture but is burnt round ended.

Special feature : This Sukemune was named Harima Daijyo.
He is one of the wordsmith of Shimada school however
there are only few pieces existing. This piece has jigane
that is well grained. He may have moved up as a army and
made one, The saya is short so it might have been a piece of either pilots.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : iron, Wan shape Tsuba.
Fuchikashira : On the copper with Nanako and gold color.
Saya : Leather
Menuki : On the Shakudo plate, flower is engraved with gold color.
