The blade was polished.
habaki:Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 34.3 cm or 13.50 inches.
Sori : 0.9cm or 0.35 inches.
Width at the hamachi : 2.87 cm or 1.12 inches.
Kasane : 0.59cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is suriage(cut shortened) with signature.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with mokume hada moxed with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki Gunome midare with Tobiyaki and round shape Boshi and Yakisage style.

Special feature : The jigane is itame hada and mokume hada mixed like Sue Sosyu style.
The hamon convined Hitarura style.
On the nakago, the signature is mentioned as Izumi Kami but I can't imagine the signature.
We want to sell as not gurantee the signature.
Even though the signature is questionable, the sword itself nice Jigane and hamon.
The sword must be made at late Muromachi period.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the Iron Hamidashi Tsuba, kiku flowers are engraved.
Fuchikashira :Kojiri: Kiku flowers are engraved on the silver plate.
Saya : On the red brown color saya, black lines are painted by black urusi.
Menuki : Kirimon is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka:On the syakudo nanako plate, kiku flowers are engraved with gold color.
