This sword Eccyu Kami Masatoshi belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 57.7 cm or 22.71 inches.
Sori : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.80cm or 1.49 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.73 cm or 1.07 inches.
Kasane : 0.83 cm or 0.32 inches.
Era : Edo Period Genroku
shape : The blade is very wide (3.80 cm) and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki.
Hamon:Gunomemidare with sunagashi and round shape boshi.

Special feature : Eccyu Kami Masatoshi school continued to 4th generation.
I think this blade belongs to 4th generation.
Mmarvelous gorgeous shape and healthy blade which is called Oni no Hocyo (Demon's kitchen knife).
The blade is huge wide and thick healthy blade and it was used by Sumo wrestler I think.
