This sword belonges to jyosaku ranking.
The blade was polished
Habaki :copper single habaki.
Blade length : 41.4 cm or 16.29 inches.
Sori : 0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi :3.18 cm or 1.25 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period. Manji era (1658-1660).
Shape : Wide and thick Wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Nie Deki Suguha with Ko-Gunome Midare mixed.
Special feature : Kouzuke no Kami Fujiwara Kunitsune’s real name is Nara Taro.
He is son of Kanetsune. He worked actively in Mino province.
This blade is wide and thick Shobu-Tsukuri Wakizashi. The Jigane is also nice.
