Wakizashi in Shirasaya(NBTHK Hozon Paper)

Signature: Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Bisyu Osafune Shigetsuna.

middle Koto:Cyujyo saki:Bizen school.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: gold failed sngle habaki.
Blade length : 36.2 cm or 14.25 inches.
Sori : 0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Mekugi:2
Width at the hamachi : 2.67 cm or 1.05 inches.
Kasane : 0.48 cm or 0.18 inches.
Era : early Muromachi period.(1394)
Shape : The blade is suruage with bo-hi.
The blade is regular size widthm and kasane and deep sori nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame had and mmokume had mixed with jinie attach beautiful texture.
On the Ji, utsuri appear.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome and Cyoji midair mix and in Hamon,
there are many ash yo sunagashi and Kinsuji scatter.
Boshi is togari point.

Special feature : Bisyu Osafune Shigetsuna is a stream of the Cyogi.
The blade is typical early Muromachi like Yasumitsu and Moromitsu style.
Boshi is also as sama as these sword.
Even though, suruage sword, the bled is healthy without Kizu and flow.
the blade has passed 600 years and good work and nice condition.
