Wakizashi in Koshirae

Signature : Mumei
Blade length : 47.6 cm or 18.74 inches.
Sori : 0.2 cm or 0.07 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.59 cm or 1.01 inches.
Kasane : 0.54 cm or 0.21 inches.
Era : Meiji period.
Shape : It is regular width and thickness with Shinogiji area. It is Hirauchi style.
Jitetsu :Ko Itame hada well grained with JInie attached. The plate is Muji style.
Hamon : Komidare mixed with mixture of Ha

Special feature : It is signed "Suou Isshin" on the blade.
This blade was made around Meiji period.
This blade and Koshirae are unusual style.
This kind of item is very rare.

Koshirae : Tachi Koshirae It is most likely modern Koshirae.
Tsuba :Square shape flower pattern tsuba with gold inlay
Fuchikashira : Flower pattern with gold inly
Saya : Unique Nuri saya.
