Wakizashi in Shirasaya with Koshirae

Signature : Mumei Mino School
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 42.7 cm or 16.81 inches.
Sori : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.65 cm or 1.04 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.1 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.6 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun Period
Shape : Suriage mumeisword with regular width and thickness it is shallow sori wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie structure with round gunome midare hamon ranging. Boushi is round ended.
From the structre it is Mino school work.

Special feature : From the work, it seems to be Mino school sword.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Round shape iron tsuba with warrior design engraved. It is Mogarashi Soten Style.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo nanako-ji with horse design engraved and inlayed with gold.
Saya : Black Ishimeji saya.
Menuki : Shi-shi dog design is sculpted and inlayed with gold.
