Wakizashi in Koshirae.
Signature : Mumei (unsigned)
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jojo saku, Jo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to ranking.

The blade is polished.
Habaki : Copper single Habaki.
Blade length : 52.8 cm or 20.8 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.74 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the Hamachi : 2.83 cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.23 cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.57 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : Standard blade with shallow curve.
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attach. There is Kizu around Monouchi area.
Hamon : Nie-deki Gonome-midare with Double Ha mixed, Boshi Hakikake style.

Special feature : From shape and Hamon, I think this blade is forged at Mino. There are some Kizu but rather good to study about Japanese swords.

Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Tsuba : The birds and woods carved on round shape Shakudo Nanakoji Tsuba.
Menuki : Samurai on boat carved on brass plate.
Fuchi-kashira : Kabuto carved on Shakudo plate with gold plate.
