Wakizashi in Shirasaya with Koshirae

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper gold color single habaki.
Blade length : 55.6 cm or 21.88 inches.
Sori : 1.3 cm or 0.51 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.72 cm or 1.07 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.64 cm or 0.65 inches.
Kasane : 0.58 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : The blade is longer with nice sori wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Item had well grained with jinie attach and utsuri appear.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha with small ash and yo work.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : At a glance, the blade looks like Yamato Tegai school but the blade is ubu nakakgo, so the sword was made around early Edo period.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the mokko style iron Tsuba, landscape is engraved.
Saya : Same gawa(shark skin) Togidashi style.
Fuchikashira : On the copper plate, a spider and a nest.
Menuki : A mantis is engraved with gold color.
