Blade length : 53.5 cm or 21.06 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.38 cm or 1.33 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.14 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with small sori and longer kissaki.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare and from Monouchi area, Soshu style active hamon.

Special feature : Hosokawa Masamori was a student of the Hosokawa Masayoshi.
This sword is well grained and nice Hamon but right now not guarantee.
