The blade was polished.
Blade length : 51.7 cm or 20.35 inches.
Sori : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.95 cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.08 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is suriage about 3 cm wide and thick with small sori Kanbun shape.

Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach and chikei worek.
Hamon : Middle suguha with thick nioikuchi and a lot of soft ashi, sunagashi and Kinsuji
scatter in Ha.

Special feature : Oumi Kami Hojyuji Tachibana Masahiro was named Takigawa who was bone at tajima province.
Later on he moved to Edo and communicated with grat master Kotetsu.
Studied from him and founded Houjyoji school and became the master of the school.
There are number of the student like Sadakuni, Kunimasa, Masateru Masatsugu and so on.
This sword is typical Masahiro style like Kotetsu.

Historical background: In 1663, Shogunate government changed Bukesho Hatto (Rules to control Daimyo) . It’s called Kanbun-rei.
