Wakizashi in Koshirae (There is Hagire)

Signature : Oumi Kami Tadatsuna(Fake Signature)

The blade was polished.
Habaki: Copper plate covered in silver.
Blade length : 52.5 cm or 20.7inches.
Sori : 0.6 cm or 0.24inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.84 cm or inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.92 cm or inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or inches.
Era : Edo period Circa Kanbun.
Shape : There is hagire at the middle part of the blade.
It is wide and thick strong looking katana with shallow sori.
It is the shape of Kanbun shinto.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear hada.
Hamon : NIe structure, hitatsura style with many ups and down.
There are sunagashi and kinsuji works.

Special feature : Unfortunately, this wakizashi has a Hagire,
fatal flaw, at the middle part of the ha.

Koshirae : It is fine condition koshirae
Tsuba :Edgy mokko tsuba
Fuchikashira : On iron plate. gold is inlayed in dot pattern.
Saya : Black saya with pattern drawn in gold.
Menuki : On copper plate, horse design is engraved.
Kozuka : Copper plate with dragon and cloud engraved.
Kojiri: Iron plate.
