Signature : Sagami Kami Fujiwara Kunitsuna.
Echizen Ju

Shinto: Chusaku: Echizen
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Sagami Kami Fujiwara Kunitsuna. belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished by good polisher.
Habakki:gold foiled and copper double habaki.
Blade length : 53.01 cm or 20.87 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.28 cm or 1.29 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.2cm or 0.25 inches.
Kasane : 0.66 cm or inches.
Era : Edo period Kanei to Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with deeper sori
and long kissaki once looking healthy blade.
Jitetsu :Itame had well grained with jinie attach
and small chikei work strong feeling texture.
Hamon : Nioideki suguha from the hamachi and Gunome midare up
and dowm with ash in Ha, Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Sagami Kami Fujiwara Kunitsuna was a student of the Echizen Kanetane.
He was working at Echizen province and name dahei Jo.
The blade is wide and thick and longer kisaki which means Kanei style.
Generally his sword has fault of rough jigane on the Shinogiji but this sword is
pretty nice condition. I think this blade is his Jyojyo saki ranking high level
quality blade. We recommend this nice sword.
