The blade was polished.
Blade length : 13.63 cm or 5.366 inches.
Sori : 0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi :2.61 cm or 1.02 inches.
Kasane : 0.98 cm or 0.38 inches.
Era : early Edo period.
Shape : The Yari is called sankaku yari(triangulate)
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach nice texture.
Hamon : Nie deki suguha and hakikake boshi.

Special feature : Nanki Shigekuni first generation is well known Yamato school shinto sword.
Monjyu Shigekuni was a student of the first generation Shigekuni and succeeded 2nd generation.
First he was named Jinsiro and changed to Shirobei.
He helped to make sword for Tokugawa shogun Yorinobu who sometimes wanted to make sword as pressure.
Nanki shigekuni and his students are stream of Yamato school.
So they made yamato den and also sosyu den also.
This Yari is typical Yamato den.
This sword is nice Jigane and nice shape.
