Tanto in Shirasaya, with Koshirae.(NBTHK Hozon paper)

Signature : Kanemichi Saku

Sue Koto: Chu Jyo Saku: Mino province.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Kanemichi belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: double silver Habaki.
Blade length : 26.3 cm or 10.35 inches.
Sori : 0.2 cm or 0.07 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.15 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.55 cm or 0.21 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : Regular size Tanto.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada, Masanagare with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Likes Nioi Deki, Gunome Midare.
Boshi is round shape Yakisage style.

Special feature : Kanemichi calls O-Kanemichi.
He is a grandson of Shizu Saburo Kaneuji.
He moved Kyoto with his son Iga Kami Kinmichi,
Tanba Kami Yoshimichi and Ecchu Kami Masatoshi.
They were prosperous in Kyoto.
