Signature : Sagami koku Zengyo Ju Tsuruoka Hachimangusha mae Okubo Kazuhira (Mukansa)
Showa Kinoe-Tora nen Yoshun Kichijitsu(Lucky day, spring 1974)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku, Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Okubo Kazuhira belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 78.2 cm or 30.78 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.43 cm or 1.35 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.53 cm or 0.99 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Modern
Shape : The blade is long and wide and thick with longer kissaki.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with Jinie attached.
The hada pattern is well seen.
Hamon : Nie Deki with deep Nioikuchi, Habuchi is soft and Boshi is midarekomi and turns back sharply.

Special feature : Swords smith Okubo Kazuhira was born Showa 18 (A.D.1943).
He was a student of Miyairi Akihira for 5 years and received many awards.
His work was Soshuden like as his master. 
He became Mukansa at Heisei 12 (A.D. 2000), but died 3 years later.
This blade is long and wide and thick, on the front side
there is a dragon wrapping on a sword and dokko engraved.
On the back side is two lotus flowers engraved.
This blade was prodeced at Tsuruoka Jingu, and it is good work too.
We recommend this blade very much.
