Shinshinto:Musashi province.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 39.4 cm or 15.51 inches.
Sori : 0.3 cm or 0.11 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.12 cm or 1.22 inches.
Kasane : 0.60 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Late Edo period. Ansei era.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick and long Sunnobi Tanto.
On the both sides of the blade, Bo-hi and soehi are engraved.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with rather thick nioikuchi with ash, sunagashi and also Kinsuji work.
Boshi is tukiage styule and turns back Yakisage.

Special feature : Yoshimune was born at Suruga province who was called Fuji Hekinosuke.
He moved to Edo and studied under the Hosokawa Masayoshi.
His native place was well known Sosyu sword makers.
He was influenced such sword makers and made Sosyu style by himself.
The sword is very healthy and good work.
